I am currently sitting on the idyllic patio of a stunning wooden hotel built in 1906 – currently known as The Ojibway Club – situated on Ojibway Island on Georgian Bay (on Lake Huron, the big one by Ontario). I can honestly say that this is not someplace I would have ever imagined myself being, much less working at. Yet here I am, 25 degrees, clear blue sunny skies, warm water and cold beer, awaiting tomorrow’s wedding. Images from that event will be posted on the website soon, but in the meantime here is some love for summer in Ontario cottage country, and love for my Canon 24mm f1.4L II, my absolute favourite lens.
And here’s a quick link as to my current location: Ojibway Club
There are better ways to spend a September afternoon, I just can’t think of any!
Soaking up the sun on the dock, final wedding details are being laid out.

And finally, a view of my office for tonight.
